Every river is part of Earth’s hydrological cycle. Rivers carry freshwater, sediments, nutrients, and minerals from the continents to the oceans, where the water eventually evaporates, forms clouds, and returns as rain or snow.
Without rivers: π§ The water cycle would break down. π Oceans would receive fewer nutrients. π Coastal ecosystems would suffer. π± Life on Earth would be drastically different.
Rivers don’t waste waterβthey connect mountains, forests, farms, cities, and oceans into one continuous natural system.
Nature never wastes. It only recycles.
